Some cosmetic and functional changes

My old design of the Center Console (CC) was based on the original design, so it already looked pretty well.Mein altes Design der Center Console (CC) war dem Original nachempfunden.
But at that time I didn’t have the possibilities of today, so everything was done pretty basic.

Although all parts are there, the lower part around the vent was missing some features, e.g. the pedal adjust lever and the room below the FUEL QTY SEL Panel.
Zusätzlich war die Halterung für den Luftauslass aus Holz und relativ brüchig.

So started FreeCAD and designed and printed some parts.

After some coats of paint and everything assembled, it already looks quite nice.

On the inside I finally added the hole to let fresh air in to the vent.

Both panels on the CC were still built the old way with glued on transparncy.
So I redid them in the new way and rewired everything for the new IOController solution and I also installed the correct switches for them.

Looking good!

The way I mounted the CC earlier, required to remove the whole nose section to have access to the screws.
To make it much easier I added angle brackets on the inside to screw the CC to the center section. Now it can be removed for maintenance while the whole sim can stay assembled.
