Faster than expected 🙂
All file to build it are available on gitHub for free.
My first selfmade PCB which is also in use.
CNC Milling worked out fine at the second try 😉
Also my first SMD soldering went well enough
Soldering the through hole cabling was easy peasy.
Finally I could assemble the front, only the back wiring needed to be done.
GX12 connector soldered
Cabling from the PCB got the counterparts for the GX12 connection.
I added to additional bridges for cable management that prevent the wire to move to far outwards.
Now I just need to put it into the CenterConsole and connect it with the sim 🙂
The display gets it’s signal over HDMI from the PC, encoder and button will be connected to a central Arduino ProMicro which handles all inputs from the CC and instrument panel.
