It took a bit longer as planned but finally the new left console has been done!

Due to bad weather I couldn’t weld everything, when I wanted to, so it had to be done in multiple sessions.
But finally everything was ready for painting:

I just put on one coat of paint, it’s just a means to keep everything from rusting.
Painted grey it really looks like an F-16 part 🙂

Here’s the part mounted (I had to put the MPO panel at it’s place):

The parts for the right console are already cut and most of them are already drilled and tapped.
So it soon will be time to build the right side :-).
