When I flew the sim I realized that the position of the seat wasn’t completely ok.
The backward angling was too big, so I couldn’t read the MFDs. Also the height of the seat was adjusted with some wood..
Also the seat was a bit wobbly.
In the real F-16 the seat is running in 2 rails up and down and I wanted to replicate this feature as good as possible..
The first step was to mount two aluminum angles to a board which was cut to be exactly as wide as the back of the seat.
The support of the seat has been inforced with a board, where the railsystem can be mounted.
Looking good so far:
* add another angle to create a closed railguard
* mount the railsystem permanently
* and of course paint everything
