The ACES II gets some modifications
Since the right side can be called done, I started with some parts I wanted to replace/add to my ACES II ejection seat for quite some time.
First is the Flight Data Recorder. Red Dog over at viperpits made a very nice model of the box and the connector for it and although he used resin printing to make his, my FDM version doesn’t look that bad either once painted and some stickers are added.
Next part is the Restraint Emergency Release handle. My old version looked a bit…. strange, compared to the real one.
The new version now looks much much better and more close to the original.
The arming lever had some defects (I didn’t use supports while printing) but nevertheless looks very ok after some “post-processing”.
